Announcing the new Datavyu v1.3.6 with enhanced features and transcription support!

This is a compilation of known bugs found in the 1.3.6 release of Datavyu. Known workarounds and expected fixes will be posted as well.

Spreadsheet

  1. Saving doesn't seem to save the spreadsheet. The asterisk next to the spreadsheet name does not go away.
    • This seems to be a visual bug. To be safe, please use the File Menu>Save As to save as a different spreadsheet and make sure the changes are saved.
    • Fixed for next release.

Code/Vocab Editor

  1. Can't delete codes by highlighting name and clicking delete button. Window prompts to delete whole column.
    • Known workarounds: CTRL+DELETE will still delete the highlighted code. Also, the delete button properly detects the code you want to delete if you go into edit mode on the code (by typing any letter while the code is highlighted).
    • Fixed for next release.

Scripting

  1. Existing scripts break on createColumn() function.
    • Use new_column() function instead of createColumn() or add an alias for createColumn(). To add the alias, put the following line of code after the require 'Datavyu_API.rb' command: alias :createColumn :new_column
    • Fixed for next release.
