Hi. I found that previously this question was asked, but the solution isn't solving my problem.

I can open .mov files, but not any other files. When I try to open .avi or mp4 files I get this error:

"Could not open data source: Non-Java exception raised, not handled! (Original problem: * -(__NSArrayM objectAtIndex:): index 1 beyond bounds for empty array)"

I reinstalled datavyu, restarted datavyu multiple times.

How do I open these video files?

Thanks, Lisa

I solved this by converting my files. Although datavyu says that it can handle avi and mp4 files, my files would not play without being converted. This information was difficult to find in the datavyu support. I suggest making this information easier to find.
