Hi,

I just downloaded this program and was wondering if there was an instruction manual for it anywhere? I'm having a hard time figuring out how the program works! Anything would help.

Thanks!

We are in the process of preparing the release of the first DataVyu version, which will replicate and improve on the functions of the previous OpenSHAPA software. We will be releasing a user guide to accompany this first release shortly.

Great! When do you think that will be? We were looking to use this program asap. Also, how are other people using this software with out an instruction manual?

The new version of OpenSHAPA/Datavyu will be available in the next 2-3 weeks along with a basic user guide.

Right now, most of the users received hands-on training on the software through workshops in Karen Adolph's lab at New York University. The project only had limited funding and a small user base, previously. Now we are preparing for a wider release, larger user base, and will therefore have a user manual, best practices guides, and a scripting guide available as online wikis and/or PDFs.
