Announcing the new Datavyu v1.3.6 with enhanced features and transcription support!

Datavyu automatically opens a video at 43 ms/frame when it should be at 33 ms/frame (we confirmed the frame rate by opening the video in Quicktime). If we open the video using the Gstreamer plug-in in OpenSHAPA it can load the video frame rate correctly. Is there any fix available for Datavyu?

At the moment, there is no way to force a framerate unless Quicktime fails to recognize a framerate upon opening the video. In this case, it's obviously recognizing the wrong framerate... We've logged this problem, and the developers will be unlocking the option to force a framerate in the next prerelease. It should be soon, and I'll let you know when that happens.

In the meantime, as a temporary solution, you may want to try the VLC plugin also shipped with Datavyu. VLC should be reading framerates in the same way as Gstreamer does.
