Software Requirments:

Before installing, you will need to check that your computer has a few things that are required to run OpenSHAPA the list of things you need installed on your machine is as follows:

Java: OSX Lion doesn't come with Java by default. You can download it here

Hardware Requirements:

If you plan on running OpenSHAPA on a new Macbook, you will not have numlock and numpad keys. In order to get the most out of OpenSHAPA we recomend you purchase an external keypad, the following are known to work well with OpenSHAPA: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823328007

Download

When you download OpenSHAPA for OSX, it comes in two flavours: the latest official release found on the main OpenSHAPA page and development snapshots, the later containing the very latest development work, and are a little unstable. However we need your help to try and test the latest features.

Installation

The installation of OpenSHAPA is fairly simple, double click on the dmg file and it will open a new window containing OpenSHAPA. Drag and drop the OpenSHAPA icon to your applications folder (you may need administrator privileges to do this).
