Announcing the new Datavyu v1.3.6 with enhanced features and transcription support!

Hi!

I have being trying to open a video with Datavyu but without any success. Whenever I try to ope a video with 'Add data' button, the following message appears:

Could not open data source: The QT native object represented by this QTJava object is not valid: quicktime.io.OpenMovieFile

What does this mean? How can I solve this issue?

My operating system is Windows 7, 64bit. It has latest version of Quicktime (verson 7.7.9) and its java version is 8.

Thanks in advance.

I believe that you are experiencing that error because you have not yet custom installed QuickTime to include Java libraries.

Please use the steps in our User Guide to help walk you through downloading QuickTime to include Java libraries: http://datavyu.org/user-guide/guide/install.html.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if the problem persists.

Thank you!. I didn't know that I had to include java libraries for QuickTime with higher version than 7.7.7. It is working beautifully now.
