Announcing the new Datavyu v1.3.6 with enhanced features and transcription support!

I am currently running Datavyu v:1.2.2 on Windows 7 Professional. I downloaded Quicktime 7.7.6 and custom installed Java libraries.

I attempted to add a .m4v file to Datavyu, however I received the following error : "Could not open data source: Could not initialize class quicktime.io.QTFile". I attempted to troubleshoot via internet suggestions, but everything I've found only goes as far as to suggest that Quicktime should be custom installed to include Java libraries, which I've already done.

I tried uninstalling & reinstalling Quicktime to no avail, and also tried downloading a prior version of QT (7.4.1), which to my knowledge does not require the custom install, and this still did not provide a solution.

Is there anything else I should try, or anything I may be missing?

Thanks!

Please try to download Datavyu version 1.3.4 and let me know if you have similar issues.
