Announcing the new Datavyu v1.3.6 with enhanced features and transcription support!

I have Datavyu on a PC laptop using Windows 7 Enterprise and recently the Add Data button on the Controller will only play my videos in a choppy and stalling manner. I have not been able to view a video playing smoothly in weeks. My software appears to be currently updated. I tried using videos from both my desktop and a network drive but I have no luck. I recently made more space on my hard drive as well. I use the keyboard numberpad and a USB numberpad but I have no luck. Please advise.

You say that your videos haven't played smoothly in weeks. On the computer that you're working on, did the videos ever play smoothly? If they did originally play smoothly and now do not, has anything changed on your computer?

Do your videos play smoothly in quicktime outside of the Datavyu program?

What is the CPU of your computer? If your computer does not have the power to play the videos smoothly, you might have to evaluate the video file type.

Thank you for corresponding with me via email. I am writing back on the forum to share that this program runs well when using files that are located on a desktop rather than on a network drive.
